Sleep: 4:00 am to 10:30 am I walked 1 mile to the treadmill at the gym, then I walked 0.25 miles as a warm-up, before running 3.25 miles at a pace of 5.4 to 6.6. I then walked 0.5 miles on the treadmill as a cool-down, before walking 1 mile back home. Total distance was 4 miles on the treadmill and 2 miles walking to the gym and back. During the run, my lungs and heart rate felt very relaxed, but at about the 3 mile mark of the run, both of my calf muscles felt very tender, so I stopped prematurely, to prevent potentially re-injuring my calf muscle. Growing old is very frustrating! |
